yoga teacher 300-hour
yoga teacher training in progress
Hi, I'm Nicole. Movement and fitness have been a large part of my life, from tumbling, cheerleading, running, and boot camp to yoga. Before I found yoga, I wanted to run faster, lift heavier, and push myself harder, which I found was not the right fit for my body. Then I discovered yoga. I fell in love with the practice, and how it made my mind and body feel I found that it was the right fit for me and I have been practicing ever since. As my practice grew, I felt called to share my love and passion for yoga with others. I am an elementary school educator and wanted to bring my experiences with yoga and mindfulness to my classroom, family, friends, and beyond. In 2022 I began my 200-hour certified yoga teacher training with Breathe For Change and I began teaching in June of 2022. I am completing their 300-hour course and will be 500-hour certified by November 2023. My yoga classes are perfect for any level. I try to design them to be inclusive of all bodies, abilities, and ages by offering different variations and modifications. They are perfect for beginners or anyone who is looking to strengthen and stretch the body and feel rested, rejuvenated, and inspired. I look forward to seeing you on the mat!
20 years ago I was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease that has greatly affected the way I live my life. Despite living with this illness, it has taught me many positive lessons that have helped guide me through my life. I have learned to be resilient. I have learned how important it is to listen to and honor my body. These life lessons lead me to yoga. It has brought more peace and gratitude to my life. My yoga practice has greatly impacted my healing in mind, body, and spirit. I hope to bring these life lessons to the mat and share some inspiration, peace, and gratitude with you.
My purpose for instructing yoga is to encourage and inspire others to listen to and honor their bodies, to welcome in peace and gratitude, and to help inspire others to be their best selves. As the Bhagavad Gita says yoga is a never-ending journey "of the self, through the self, to the self" and I hope to guide others and play a part in helping them achieve their goals in mind, body, and spirit.
